We can laugh in many ways. Laughter Yoga, like other ways of laughing, allows us to transcend the dominance of the thinking mind and its constructs such as Ken Wilber’s AQAL map. It invites spontaneity, playfulness (lila), lightness, harmony, and peace..

In Kingston, Ontario, on demand I (Rolf Sattler) facilitate meditations such as dancing meditation and laughing meditation, including Laughter Yoga. Laughter Yoga comprises three components: a little stretching, deep breathing, and many laughter exercises. Laughing is fun, relaxing, and beneficial in many ways, for our health, relationships, harmony, peace, and spiritual growth. As one spiritual master said, one can laugh one's way to enlightenment.

Diane Ricard, n.d., also facilitates Laughter Yoga sessions, especially for the francophone community. She is a certified Laughter Yoga leader, a professional clown, Reiki Master, healer, etc. Recently she became the ambassador of Educoeur (Education with a heart) for Ontario.
